We love to go out into the woods
To get away, or so we say, from the world
And experience the virgin earth
As our ancestors did in their days of dearth.

We want the natural, and yet, we choose to rent
Space in a city of tents, spend a few days
In the forest sleeping alongside as many
Other people as will fit in those empty woods.
